Our inventory changes frequently so be sure to visit us as often as you can! Our prices are very reasonable, and we regularly offer promotions to help you save even more money and to express our thanks to all the faithful customers who contribute to our ongoing success!

Sales proceeds from the ReStore provide working capital for our building mission right here in the Verde Valley. Our ReStore is an important fund-raising component for the Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity affiliate; enabling the building of much needed affordable homes for qualifying families in our region.

For your convenience, we are open 5 days a week MONDAY – FRIDAY 9AM to 5PM and SATURDAY 11AM to 3PM. We offer FREE donation pickup service for larger items that you are unable to put into your vehicle and drop off. Contact us at (928) 649-6788 today.

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses and private donors, we have been servicing our community for years and are still going strong! All of our new and gently used merchandise ranging from building materials, furniture, appliances, tools, to housewares and house décor is sold at discounted prices.

Help provide working capital for our building mission right here in the Verde Valley. Many Habitat for Humanity affiliates are able to generate enough revenue through their ReStores to build several houses a year. Indeed, our ReStore is an important fund-raising component for the Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity affiliate organization.
Save money! Our low prices combined with the discounts, sales and promotions we offer on a regular basis help keep your home and business improvements costs down.
Lessen the load in landfills through your purchase of recycled, re-usable items, thus keeping our environment clean. Check our picture gallery (coming soon) to see the type of merchandise we carry. Our inventory changes daily. You never know what specialty item or treasure you will find!

Forms of Payment:

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards (minimum $10 purchase on all charge transactions). Sorry, we do not accept checks.
We do not offer holds or layaway; items must be purchased in full.

Return Policy:

All items are sold on a first come, first serve basis and are sold as is. Please check and measure all items carefully.
We do not offer refunds.

Pricing:

All efforts are made to ensure consistency of pricing. Age, wear, quality, quantity and market demand are all factors used in determining pricing for merchandise in our ReStore. Due to the significant amount and wide range of materials that come through our ReStore, there is no guarantee we will price merchandise exactly the same each time. The ReStore staff reserves the right to change prices at any time. Merchandise that is not priced at check-out will be pulled from the sales floor and reprocessed at a later date.
Items are priced to sell; our prices are not negotiable.

Item Pick-Up

We do not have space to store sold merchandise. All sold items must be picked-up within 72 hours of purchase.
We are not responsible for sold items left at the ReStore.
Sold items left at the ReStore longer than 72 hours will be considered donated and will be disposed of in any manner deemed feasible by the ReStore staff, including but not limited to, resale. The purchaser will lose any right of ownership for items left in the ReStore longer than 72 hours.

For a nominal fee, the ReStore can deliver items within the Verde Valley region.

ReStore Discounts & Promotions

Our senior discount is every Wednesday for 55+ and 10% off.

Military is 10% off daily with ID.

The frequent shopper card allows customers to get a card punched once a day for purchases over $25. After 5 punches, the card can be traded for 50% off of one item (excluding paint and appliances).

Our ReStore offers frequent sales and promotional events. Be sure to check our website, your local newspaper or click on the ReStore Specials image on this page to visit us on Facebook and see how you can save even more by taking advantage of our promotional and sales events*. * Frequent Shopper Rewards, discounts, promotions and sales offered by Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity are only valid at the Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore; are not valid for purchases of appliances; cannot be combined.

Donation Criteria

Calling all builders, contractors, building products & home improvement suppliers, realtors and homeowners!

Think of Habitat! Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity diverts on average, 450 tons of usable building supplies and home décor items from our local landfills every year! Instead of throwing away that lamp or faucet, why not donate it to our ReStore located at 737 S. Main Street in Cottonwood, any time between 9:00 and 4:30 Tuesdays through Saturdays. You can also schedule a pick up for your larger items. Call us at (928) 649-6788.

Doing deconstruction or demolition?
Have overstock or end-of season items you do not wish to ship back or store?
Wish to get rid of staging items in a home?
In the midst of spring cleaning?
Just finished an estate or yard sale and have left-over items?

Think of Habitat! We will gladly accept new and gently used and re-usable:

kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and countertops

low-flush toilets, sinks, tubs (call ahead on these items)

Other ways to donate:

Cash donations are always welcome and appreciated. Please specify that you are donating to the ReStore. Your cash donations will be used to do necessary repairs to our building which is old and in constant need of TLC.
Volunteer your talent and time! Our ReStore is always in need of volunteers, whether it is to assist customers, help with receiving, pick up donations on our truck, do repairs, landscaping or special projects.

- Appliances
  - Washers, Dryers, Ranges, Ovens, Refrigerators, Microwaves, Air Conditioners, Heaters, Evaporative Coolers, Wood Stoves (no older than 10 years) and small countertop appliances in working order.

- Cabinets/Countertops
  - Individual cabinets or full sets (kitchen, bathroom), countertops (no cracks or structural breaks). Cabinets must have all drawers, doors and hardware and be in stable condition with minimal damage. We accept any wood working quality dimensional lumber pieces, moldings and trim.

- Decorator Items
  - Silk plants, framed art work, mini-blinds (with hardware), throw rugs (if in clean condition and no stains), knickknacks; collectibles & fine art.

- Doors
  - Pre-hung or door slabs, bi-fold or shutter style doors with hardware. Doors must be in good shape and have no physical damage. Storm and screen doors are accepted with all necessary mounting frames. Sorry, no patio doors, no shower glass doors.

- Electrical
  - Residential items only-electrical plugs, switches, blue boxes, plate covers and new breakers. Sorry we cannot accept commercial items.

- Flooring
  - New remnants or like new carpet (must be under 5 years of age); throw rugs in good condition; ceramic, stone/slate tile, vinyl flooring and hardwood flooring if in useable sq. footage.

- Furniture
  - Sofas, loveseats, chairs, dining room tables and chairs, dining rooms sets, bedroom sets, hutches, dressers, armoires, patio furniture, headboards and frames, coffee/end tables, office chairs, night stands, bookshelves and other items of furniture are gladly accepted, must be in good condition.

- Garden/Outdoors
  - Small working hand tools, rolls of chicken or other wire, fencing trellises, hoses and sprayers. Mowers, edgers and trimming tools in working condition are accepted as well. Camping and outdoor gear.

- Hardware
  - New in packaging or if used in complete sets. We accept nails and screws (if not rusty).

- Holiday Décor
  - We gladly accept holiday décor items in good condition.

- Housewares
  - Dishes, cookware, tablecloths, napkins, placemats, curtains, silverware, glasses, cups, small kitchen appliances, cleaning products, vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners.

- Lighting
  - Should be current in style and in working condition. Exterior and interior wall sconces, table and floor lamps are accepted. Ceiling fans, exterior landscape lamps and wall sconces are accepted with all mounting brackets and accessories needed to install. New light bulbs also accepted.

Lumber
- New dimensional – 4ft minimum length; new sheet goods- ½ sheets or full sheets only, particle, OSB press wood, ply or paneling. Trim and molding in 4ft or longer sticks.
