Oversees all aspects of Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity’s construction process in a way that utilizes staff, volunteer labor and materials to produce quality homes and critical home repairs, in a safe, affordable manner. Position will include scheduling, planning, procurement, working with subcontractors, site selection, zoning, site management, working with architects, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals; building permits and inspections; and the unique opportunity of working with volunteers. Must have the heart of a teacher to lead and teach volunteers in construction methods, be goal-driven, organized, and results-oriented and committed to the organization’s goal to build quality, affordable homes. Must have an understanding of the mission, history, values, and goals of the organization and be able to communicate this information to diverse groups of volunteers, sponsors, and the community. Must consistently demonstrate strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to work effectively as a team member with staff and volunteers from all races, faiths and backgrounds is essential. Must have an absolute commitment to job safety and be computer literate. A background in residential home construction is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing and accepting payments for the purchase of items, answering general questions about the store and its merchandise, welcoming customers to the store and assisting customers.
