As Thanksgiving approaches, we are grateful for the blessing of dedicated donors like you. In other words, donors that give so generously.
Donors who understand that safe, decent, and affordable shelter plays a critical role in helping families create a better life. Lives that are filled with possibilities and progress. Lives like Iris’s.
Iris, a single mother, has worked hard to make a better life for her four children. She was determined to provide a stable home, free from fear and worry about the rising costs of affordable workforce housing.
Thanksgiving Gratitude: Because of You. This past year we helped 3 families like Iris’s with the dream of affordable homeownership.
Thanksgiving Gratitude: Because of You we have served 34 homeowners with much needed home improvements or repairs. As part of our ongoing Critical Home Repair Program (CHRP) efforts, Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity, provides help with windows, roofs, painting, wheelchair ramps and staircases. All in, close to 194 people have benefitted from Habitat’s programs. Thanks for giving!

Give it – Get it back. The State of Arizona’s Tax Credit program allows taxpayers to direct a portion of their tax liability to Qualifying Charitable Organizations like ours. Individuals may utilize a $400 tax credit and married couples filing jointly may take an $800 tax credit. In conclusion, the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is a wonderful way for you and Habitat for Humanity to help build affordable homes, make critical home repairs, and improve Arizona communities.
