Volunteers: The Heart of OUR HUMANITY!
“There are more of you, than there are of us” I recently told a new volunteer for Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity during volunteer orientation. We LITERALLY could NOT do what we do in the Verde Valley without our volunteers!!
This week we will be giving shout outs and recognition to those individuals who are the heart of “OUR HUMANITY”. At Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity, our volunteers take care of so many details, we could not exist without them: from the ReStore stocking and pricing, to Homeowner Selection; from our Critical Home Repair Program to renovations on our office building; we EXIST because YOU generously give of your time.
