Another safe and secure home

Maria Rauch had a serious problem, when she arrived at our door for help.

Maria’s window would not stay open in the Summer and seeped cold air in the Winter.

Maria lives with her son and grandson. Wear and tear had taken their toll on two windows in her home. The windows would no longer operate properly, making things unbearable in both the Summer and Winter.

This also became a safety issue with ingress and egress through the windows almost impossible should an emergency occur. Her problem had to be fixed!

AHHHH, a beautiful new window!

After being approved for the repairs, our Critical Home Repair Program (CHRP) volunteers and VVHFH construction team got working. Together they removed her old, worn out windows, and replaced them with new, energy efficient single hung – working windows!

If you know someone in your neighborhood who could use a helping hand, they can contact Bobbie with our Critical Home Repair Program at 928-649-6788, M-F 9am-5pm.
