Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity is lucky enough to have a Volunteer named Lynn Seaberg who has made the recent big push to complete 5 wheelchair ramps in 6 weeks possible. Lynn walked into Verde Valley Habitat 9 months ago and said “Put me to work, I want to help!” and from that day on Lynn has been so dedicated to completing any task you put in front of her! When Lynn is in the office, you can hear laughing from down the hall because she makes everything fun while getting so much done in a day!
3 months ago, we asked Lynn if she could start putting teams of Volunteers together to work on this big push of completing 5 wheelchair ramps in 6 weeks and Lynn said “No problem!”. Lynn jumped in and started calling every Volunteer she could think of and going out into the community to recruit anyone that she could. Once Lynn had the Volunteers she needed she put the schedules together and communicated with everyone when they were scheduled and what to expect.
On the day of work, Lynn was there and helped build the wheelchair ramps during the pre-builds and then at the homes she was there to help with the installs. While she was helping to build the wheelchair ramps she was also making sure that everyone had the tools they needed, had sunscreen, and was staying well hydrated!
Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity is extremely lucky to have Lynn as a Volunteer! Lynn’s hard work and dedication to this project made it possible for us to complete the 5 wheelchair ramps in 6 weeks!
THANK YOU LYNN FOR ALL THAT YOU DO AT VERDE VALLEY HABITAT!!!! We are so grateful for you!!!
