Wells Fargo recently granted Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity money to help build more wheelchair ramps for Veterans, Seniors and Low-income families. Thanks to Wells Fargo along with some other grants and sponsors, Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity has been able to complete 15 Critical Home Repair Projects, 7 of which have been wheelchair ramps.
This program is vital to Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity’s mission of eliminating poverty housing in the Verde Valley and helping to keep Veterans, Seniors and Low-income families in their own homes. With out the support of our Corporate Partners like Wells Fargo none of this would be possible.
Wells Fargo has helped make it possible for Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity to assist people like Merlynn and her husband Albert. Merlynn has a prosthetic leg and found it difficult to use the steps leading up to the front door of their home. Both Merlynn & Albert have fallen and been injured several times, Albert has even broken his ribs in a fall. Merlynn & Albert reached out to Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity for help. In the Month of June, Verde Valley Habitat went out and built them a safe, stable and sturdy wheelchair ramp that makes Merlynn & Albert feel safe again.
Verde Valley Habitat For Humanity is truly grateful for the partnership with Wells Fargo and all that they do for the community. We would like to ask everyone to support the businesses that support Verde Valley Habitat.
